Hexes are spells which apply the curse in an area of effect. The total Curse Effect value can be calculated as the sum of any added Curse Effect, multiplied by the sum of all increases and reductions to Curse Effect, multiplied by all more and less Curse Effect modifiers.Ī the total amount of added Curse Effect a ∈ N 0 b the total amount of increased Curse Effect b ∈ N 0 c the total amount of reduced Curse Effect c ∈ N 0 d the total amount of more Curse Effect d ∈ N 0 e the total amount of less Curse Effect e ∈ N 0 \color For more information about the symbols, see sum and product notation.Ĭurses are split into two categories: Hexes and Marks. Monsters and maps can have modifiers that make them (or monsters inside of them, in the case of maps) hexproof or immune to curses. Curses have a limited duration, but can be refreshed by applying a curse again.
